At Seeds That Grow Inc., we proudly partner with the Division of Family and Children Services to support children ages 0–21 who are unable to remain with their families. Child Placement

Seeds That Grow Inc. works in partnership with the Division of Family and Children Services to find the best placement for children, ages 0-21, who are unable to live with their family. Children are matched with trained, licensed foster families that are able to support their medical, mental health, emotional and educational needs.

Child Placement

(Long-Term): Structured, nurturing homes for children and teens with emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges. Foster parents are trained to provide consistent care, build trust, and help youth heal over time.

(Short-Term / Emergency): Short-term, emergency placements for children needing immediate support. These homes offer stability during crises and give long-term foster families time to rest, recover, and prevent burnout.

(Relative Placement): When possible, children are placed with trained, approved relatives or close family friends. This helps preserve family ties, cultural identity, and provides emotional security during uncertain times.

Crisis Stabilization

The Crisis Stabilization Program at Seeds That Grow Inc. provides individualized, intensive support for children placed in Specialized Treatment Foster Homes. Youth enter the program for a 90-day assessment period, during which their strengths, challenges, and clinical needs are carefully evaluated.

Crisis Stabilization

Children receive individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, and case management. We also provide mental health assessments, medication education, and direct therapeutic interventions. All services are customized to the child’s needs and delivered in the home.

Seeds That Grow Inc. advocates for youth in IEP meetings, DFCS/DJJ case planning, and mental health discussions. We collaborate with families and community partners to ensure the best care and proper long-term placement recommendations.

Our program aims to stabilize disruptive behaviors, address mental health needs, and reduce safety risks. We focus on preventing hospitalization by offering treatment in the least restrictive environment.
