Submit all required forms and complete initial screenings:
- Caregiver Application Form + Proof of Citizenship or Legal Residency
- Marriage, Divorce, or Death Certificate (if applicable)
- Pet Vaccination Records (if applicable)
- Housing Proof: Mortgage/Lease + Homeowner or Renter Insurance
- Driver's License, Vehicle Registration & Insurance + Utility Bill
- Proof of Income (Employment/Benefits) + 3 References

Complete Training
Complete required caregiver training programs:
- Agency Pre-Service Orientation & Crisis Management
- Medication Administration & Bullying Prevention
- Trauma-Informed Care & Prudent Parenting Guidelines
- NTDC Classes (National Training & Development Curriculum)
- Mindset & De-escalation Techniques Training
- CPR/First Aid Certification (Infants, Children & Adults)

Home Evaluation
Participate in thorough home and family evaluations:
- 3–4 In-Person Home Visits with Agency Representative
- Home Safety Audit Including Environment & Accessibility
- Interviews with Household Members & Adult Children
- Inspection of Sleeping Arrangements for Foster Children
- Review of Emergency Preparedness & Support Systems
- Final Licensing Readiness Check and Documentation
